Welcome to Face the World Photography, a website dedicated to portraiture that reveals life's special moments and occasions in all their glorious variety. At the centre of this is my  street photography from around the world but based largely in the UK. My name is Brian Lyons and I live and work in London, the capital of the UK and home to 270 nationalities.

 

It would be an impossible task to capture the full range of this hugely diverse population. Hopefully, however, you will find some real slices of life here, represented by people and places which are not normally represented in the mass media. Although these images are available for purchase, my primary aim is to use them for books and exhibitions, and to encourage commissions for expand the range and depth of my portfolio.

In addition to the street photography, I also have an extensive range of personal portraiture, which is either studio based or set in different locations according to your preference.

My rates for any commission are on a sliding scale, according to your ability to pay. It begins with a base of £90 for any London work, with additional fees set by your specific needs. Please do contact me and we can talk it through to our mutual benefit.
